Barbican Cinema Season: Artists in Residence
The Barbican’s much celebrated Cinema Season kicks off with Housing Pains on the 22nd of January.
The programme of short films explores how artists live and make livelihoods, tracing from the 1950s all the way to the modern day, and acts as the curtain raiser for 2024’s film collection, titled Artists in Residence.
The Season will showcase rarely seen archive footage and contains three further curations – Trading Places, Public House Portraits, and Work, Play and Protest which run until Thursday 15th February.
Artists in Residence opens at the Barbican on Monday 22nd of January with tickets available here.
