Fashion City : How Jewish Londoners shaped global style
The Museum of London will be exploring the significant achievements and impacts of Jewish designers in London with their major exhibition, ‘Fashion City: How Jewish Londoners shaped global style’.
Uncover key fashion figures, such as renowned wedding dress designer Netty Spiegel, master milliner Otto Lucas and learn about the Jewish fashion makers who dressed the rich and famous – including David Bowie, Princess Diana and Mick Jagger.
Learn to care and repair your clothes with a mending workshop on the 28th October and attend a panel discussion on the 14th November in celebration of ‘Fashion City’.
The exhibition will be on from the 13th October 2023 – 14th April 2024 at the Museum of London Docklands.
