Somerset House Studios Podcast: Soft Life

Somerset House is bringing together a community of artists and intellectuals to consider how softness can help us re-think work, time, hustle culture, and the body on brand new podcast, Soft Life.

The four part series will include Bayo Akomolafe, writer of Black Power Naps; rest as a radical act, disabled artist Raquel Meseguer Zafe on ‘crip time’, and Ilona Sugar on how human bodies are rendered hard through architecture.

You are invited to grapple with experimental modes of living in this ‘sonic sanctuary’, whilst exploring softness as a form of protest against the speed and pressures of now.

Listen to Soft Life, the new podcast from Somerset House that launches today across all major platforms. Find out more here.
