PEER Gallery presents Liths by Tanoa Sasraku

Immerse yourself with digital and handmade works this Spring in the first major solo exhibition in a London institution, as Tanoa Sasraku brings her stunning visual display ‘Liths’ to life.

The Hackney-based artist will display large freestanding sculptures and imagery, exploring themes of memory, place and tradition.

Sasraku works with figurines, tapestry, print and analogue film to give land, nature and history a life of their own, with the name Lith relating to the combination of clay, ground-soil, rocks and plants.

Liths by Tanoa Sasraku will run from February 16th to May 20th at the PEER Gallery on 97-99 Hoxton Street N1 6QL, and will include a series of talks, events and workshops throughout its time at the gallery.
