Food and Drink Show x Frantic Assembly

The first Food and Drink show of 2023 hosted by Alissa and the Preshaah was full of delights as we reflected on New Years Eve, stories of old and restaurants to look out for here in East London! Not to mention, we were graced by the presence of Greg McLaren from the Yard Theatre and Felipe Pacheco who is currently playing Roderigo in Frantic Assembly’s production of Othello at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre.

Deep dive into sushi this year at Shiro, a Japanese restaurant with edomae sushi, a tradition dating to the 17th century that is quite the catch. Or you may want to step into the Chinese New Year, 17th of January at Ping Pong, which is launching new dishes as we celebrate the year of the Rabbit.

Greg McLaren from The Yard Theatre came to talk about the Ping Pong Quiz Show an immersive event featuring ping pong, trivia, comedy, music and more! This show will literally be playing on the 19th of January at the Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick. Tune in to hear Greg serenade us with volleys, as this immersive ping pong quiz extravaganza is something you do not want to miss.

Felipe Pacheco (Brassic S4, Sky One; The Responder, BBC; Patters, Aurelia Pictures) plays Roderigo in Frantic Assembly’s acclaimed production of Othello playing at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre from 19th January – 11th February 2023. Felipe gave us insight into the structure of this devised modern day production of Shakespeare’s Othello which has garnered rave reviews.
