Turner Prize 2022 Shortlist Announced

Tate Liverpool has officially announced their shortlist for the Turner Prize 2022. The esteemed finalists are Heather Phillipson, Ingrid Pollard, Veronica Ryan and Sin Wai Kin.

An exhibition of each artist’s work will be held at the gallery from October 2022 to March 2023, with the winner announced in December.

2022 marks the return of the Turner Prize to Liverpool for the first time in 15 years. The Turner Prize is one of the world’s most prestigious awards. It aims to provoke conversation and public debate around new developments in contemporary British art.

The lucky winner will receive a prize of £25,000, with £10,000 going to each shortlisted artist.
