Acme Fire Cult in Dalston
Acme Fire Cult, a new live fire concept from chefs Andrew Clarke and Daniel Watkins, has opened its first permanent restaurant at 40FT Brewery in Dalston.
Having previously resided at London Fields Courtyard and Homerton’s Dark Arts coffee roastery, Acme offers a new approach to BBQ, where vegetables take centre stage, and where food and drink are intrinsically linked.
Glazed, smoked and spiced vegetables are at the heart of the menu, alongside rare and native breed meat from regenerative farms and fish from sustainable suppliers in supporting roles. The restaurant also has 10 home-brewed beers on tap to be paired with the dishes, and even used as ingredients over the live flames.
The space is open Wednesday – Sunday and is also available for private hire. More information here.
