Made in Hackney Fundraiser
Made In Hackney is the UK’s first fully vegan community cookery school and charity.
The team has launched the #NOONEGOESHUNGRY2022 crowdfunder campaign to provide 70,000 meals to Hackney residents throughout 2022. They aim to raise £150K in six weeks to fund the continuation of their community meal support service.
The service began in March 2020 as a response to the COVID19 pandemic, and has so far cooked over 100,000 meals for residents of Hackney in the past 90 weeks.
Founded in 2012, they collaborate with communities to showcase and develop skills, knowledge and inspiration to grow, cook and eat more plants.
