NonDef: Sounds Around Phoebe Cates

Phoebe Cates, first caught our ears, then our eyes, through a track called Feels So Good (Feels So Right). She had the looks, the song; it was enough for a show. Except her music wasn’t nearly as fun as that original track, so we had to go foraging for leads. So we plundered the soundtracks of the films and it stacked up. We usually get there in the end.

Showbiz and musical connections, hanging out with Warhol at Studio 54, both her kids in bands and movies with strong musical chops and a bit of audio from a Letterman show.
