The Alternative Hour w Elspeth Pierce
This week’s Alternative Hour was basking in the post- Glastonbury glow, airing some of the lesser known bands that rocked out at Worthy Farm, from ‘sassy soul sisters’ LA rockers Haim to anti establishment punk/ garage Slaves.
With all the news and reviews from the 50th anniversary of the Greatest festival, we discuseed which band could possibly convince Michael Eavis to discard his Fallow year planned for 2018.
Keeping the festival momentum going, Elspeth discussed Community Festival this weekend, the first of it’s kind, an indie party celebrating all in new music and her playlist was heavily influenced with tracks from headliners Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Hunna, Wombats and Fickle Friends.
