This week’s Alternative Hour with Elspeth Pierce brought you the perfect cocktail of fresh sonic offerings shaken up with those of old from the likes of Queens of The Stone Age, to Mac De Marco, Chastity Belt, Neil Young and more. It isn’t called alternative for nothing!
She featured exclusive music news and announcements of long awaited albums, brand new London festivals, must see gigs in the capital and her weekly feature: Track of the week.
This week the track was from Spoilers, a new age punk rock band who only emerged onto the scene a few months ago. They tackle political issues as well as any self respecting punk band should do with a catchy summer melody that will stay in your head and baby faces to boot.
The track is called Nothing, released on Anti Music Group on the 28th April. They play lion Coffee and Records on Lower Clapton Road on Thurs 27th April.
