National Calvados Week
Ultra ripe apples tuned to exceptional taste and alcohol infusement get their own party this autumn, as national Calvados Week goes down across London.
This Normandy apple brandy is having a weeklong celebration brought to you by Père Magloire with special taster sessions, food pairings and demo events.
Calvados it is created by distilling dry cider in oak casks for two years and hails from Normandy and Brittany, dating back to the French Revolution.
National Calvados week runs from the 18th-24th October, with special events going on at 155 Bar and Kitchen, Clerkenwell, throughout the week.
