Michael Barnes with May Kolta and Jessmin

Two artists, two distinctive sounds: May Kolta and Jessmin join Michael Barnes on Hoxton Radio to share their music and the stories behind it. Raised in Cape Town, May blends pop, folk and jazz, bringing her new single “Rooibos Tea” alongside a conversation about her songwriting, studio life and a little tea-inspired fun.

France-born and Netherlands-raised Jessmin introduces her debut EP “Hyperfixated”, exploring crushes, overthinking and identity, while looking ahead to live shows with her full band. Expect new discoveries, honest conversation and a chance to meet the personalities behind the songs.
