Rough Trade East August In-store Gigs
Once again, Rough Trade East is bringing some incredible live music to the Old Truman Brewery this summer. August is set to be a jam-packed month of live gigs, Q&A and signings from some of the best artists around.
The legendary Ghostpoet will be gracing the stage at Rough Trade on the 22nd August performing tracks from his much awaited fourth studio album, Dark Days & Canapés. There is also an opportunity to get his brand new album signed by Obaro Ejimwe himself.
25th August sees the brilliant Nadine Shah bringing her politically-tinged 2016 album, Holiday Destination to East London. Shah features world issues into her writing, reflecting on war, nationalism and mental health.
To finish off the month, the brilliant Black Lips take over Rough Trade East, playing tracks from their newest album ‘Satan’s Graffiti or God’s Art?’, which was released on the 5th May on Vice.
As always, entry to shows can be brought online or instore, where you can also buy the newest music from the artists featuring on the Rough Trade East stage this summer.
