NonDef: Ian Brown Stole My Libido

This week’s show invited Pat Duffy back into the studio with NonDef’s Stu for a show which explores how sex is addressed in music, specifically looking at the ironic lack of sexual content in the predominantly white male indie scene in the 90s.

Bands such as Nick Cave’s Grinderman or Iggy Pop addressed it in a direct, honest way, but there was a tendancy for British acts to be coy and almost metaphorical about how they addressed it. Why was this? We explored this and, to our shame, so much more, in this show.
