Henrietta on Hoxton x Sin Gusano

This week on the show we had a little piece of Oaxaca in London with ‘Sin Gusano’, a Mezcal bar and kitchen based in Haggerston. The fun loving owner Jon brought in some of his festive Christmas gift packs and taught me how to ‘kiss’ not ‘skull’ when it comes to consuming this spirit. Apparently it’s one of the few alcohols that’s an upper not a downer and it has been around for about 400 years.

Also in the house was a little Caribbean simmering with the developers of Limin’, a Trinidadian pop up rum shop and island food restaurant based in Spitalfields. They’re fresh on the food scene with a one of a kind menu and have already gained tonnes of 5 star reviews already.

Not gonna lie, I like the sound of their bottomless rum and 4 course brunches.
