At The Counter x Callooh Callay

This week At the Counter Natalia and Liv gave some suggestions on where to party, drink and eat over the Easter weekend.

Their two top picks were Ballie Ballerson, who are hosting an Easter eggstravaganza (HA!) who have replaced Easter eggs with rubber chickens for you to find, to exchange for a prize. If that isn’t enough for your inner child, their are bunny mascots giving out chocolate. Win win.

Over on Regent’s Canal in Islington, there is the Angel Easter Floating Market which is free for everyone and is the place to chill, mooch and listen to some live music over the long weekend. Including a range of different stalls selling everything from records, vintage clothing, jewellery to homemade remedies. Of course, there is a bar set up by the Village Butty for those that want something a bit stronger.

The girls sat down and chatted with Aaron from Callooh Callay over on Rivington Street. After giving the low down on their bespoke menu, Aaron mixed up a ‘mainland’ cocktail that’s named after a Father Ted episode with ingredients including whisky, orange bitters, and a honey, apple cordial.
