NonDef: Soundtrack to when pop music met the avant garde

We delved into how the high-brow world of avant garde art and the comparatively low-brow world of pop music collided.

Composers and artists from Stockhausen, John Cage, and Yoko Ono, came to ‘cross-pollinate’ the songwriters of pop music, resulting in even more interesting ideas and artistic expressions which took the medium, and its listeners, to new levels of stimulation.
